Community

Cooking for the city that feeds us.

Giving back to the community has been a mainstay of the Greater Charleston chapter. Here's how chefs, students and partners take part.

Ways to take part

Your skills are useful outside the kitchen.

  1. Support culinary education

Visit a classroom, judge a student competition, mentor a young cook.

  2. Cook for a cause

Lend your skills to community meals and fundraising events.

  3. Connect local food businesses

Introduce chefs to the farms, producers and suppliers around Charleston.

  4. Welcome people into the profession

Career changers, military veterans and students all need someone to show them the way in.
